Tegan Lomas - Plays Vicky : I was chosen to play this character because I am good at projecting a sadness to an audience. I also have quite a pale complexion which adds to the look of me being really cold as I'm homeless within the film. As well as this it emphasises the look of puffy eyes when crying to the viewers. Yet despite this my eyes are quite bold which meant that I suited playing the character without make up. Finally another contributing factor to me playing this character is that I smoke. We needed someone to smoke a cigarette for this role.
Rebecca Robson - Plays Evie : We chose Becky to play Evie within the opening sequence because she looks classy and well rounded. We needed this to achieve the contrast between the two roles. As well as this Becky is a really happy and smiley person who sends out this vibe very well. This was good for camera because it made it look less like acting as she is generally like that. Her costume within the film is the style that she wears everyday therefore we didn't need to worry about whether we had the right costumes of not.
Max Lomas - Brother of Evie : We chose Max to play this role because he is really sweet and innocent. His smile is really happy and projects this sense of happiness on to the audience. Not only this but max is a really polite person who does a lot for other people. Needless to say on camera he showed this very well. As well as this he has some similar characteristics to Becky which make him look as if he could be her little brother.
Hannah Kaplan - Hits Vicky with book : We chose to have Hannah playing this character as she is quite tall. This gives her a sense of power therefore making her perfect for this role which is someone looking down to someone. As well as this she can pull a grumpy face which was important for this role. The person hitting Vicky couldn't be pulling a very smiley and cheery face. They had to look stern and serious.
